Hola LA MeFi,
We're meeting up
Bigfoot West on Thursday, April 5th. They have a happy hour between 7 and 9, so we're gonna start the meet somewhere in there and keep going if we prove to be interesting enough company. I'll probably pop in around 8/8:30 and I have this bright pink sweatshirt that has inadvertently become my trademark and you can find me that way.
There's a kind of corner booth in the back right that tends to empty-ish even when busy, so it might make sense to try and say Hi there.
Any Q's, just send me a MeMail!

Hey folks, as mentioned in
this post, I'll be in Los Angeles, arriving on the 22nd and departing on the 25th, with a chance of extending the trip for a day or two.
Update: Barndsall Park, Sunday 10/23 @ 4:30pm. BE THERE. I'll arrange for picnic stuff. I think. Depends on how many people show up. I'll be MeMailing folks with my contact #, etc., soon.

I'm coming into town before MaxFunCon and I'd like to meetup with some L.A. MeFites on Thursday, June 9, 2011. I'm staying at a
hotel on Fairfax near the Farmer's Market, but I'm willing to drive if the destination doesn't require me to navigate tiny streets and hunt for parking (I'm a country-boy at heart.)
Confirmed! Meetup at 7pm at
Loteria Grill at Farmers Market.

With as many native upper midwesterners that have emigrated to Los Angeles, there should be a lot more Euchre played around these parts. But, there's not. And we need to fix that. And if you don't know how to play, and are curious how under certain circumstances the Jack of Clubs is actually a Spade, and vice versa (well, quad-versa when considering the red cards), read on. You'll love spending time in the barn.

This is a crazy idea and it may not work, but would anyone be interested in a chill paced/all levels bike ride along the newly paved/open
LA River path in Elysian Valley followed by some tasty cheap vegetarian indian food in Atwater Village?
