6333 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA, USA (Map & Directions)
I'm coming into town before MaxFunCon and I'd like to meetup with some L.A. MeFites on Thursday, June 9, 2011. I'm staying at a hotel on Fairfax near the Farmer's Market, but I'm willing to drive if the destination doesn't require me to navigate tiny streets and hunt for parking (I'm a country-boy at heart.)
Confirmed! Meetup at 7pm at Loteria Grill at Farmers Market.
I think we can make this! If anyone wants to bikepool it from near Vermont and Santa Monica, klang can assure you that I know the back roads for getting there in style.

I'm in for anything after seven or so. Meetups at the Farmer's Market (usually in that area near Loteria) have worked out swell in the past, so I don't see why we shouldn't just go there. However, if we have it someplace else, Thin Lizzy and I live very close to the Farmer's Market and can give you a ride, ColdChef.

I would like to be here but I'm returning from a trip on the 9th and won't be landing until about 7:30pm. Which makes it unlikely I'd be home and unpacked anything like early enough despite living 5 minutes from the Farmer's Market.

This sucks, I wont be able to hang out with ColdChef this year, the one regret (besides missing hanging out with you mefites) of moving away from LA.

My Brunch With CoolChef (it's my new nick for him because he IS awesomely cool) went wonderfully (details here) but he insisted on picking up my tab. So anyone who can successfully overwhelm him and pay for him at the Loteria will get at least semi-compensated by me. Now I just need to figure out how to overcome my MaxFunCom Envy.

I look like this. And I'll probably be there early-ish. If memory serves, you can't really "reserve" anything, you just grab tables as they become available.

Grabbing tables between Loteria and the crepe place shouldn't be too hard, since it's a Thursday evening... I seem to recall it's never been much of a problem any other time we've met up there. I'll probably be a little early as well. You can spot me pretty easily -- I'm the tall chick who will either be laughing loudly or gesticulating wildly or possibly both.
