Due to a bunch of last-minute schedule conflicts, the Meals by Genet meet-up from last week has been rescheduled as a post-Watts Towers IRL dinner.
I'm putting it down for 6:00 again but I can change it if need be.
I'm still working out how to get to Watts (if anyone wants to help a newcomer sort out the buses/subway that would be awesome, though I may have a ride). I live close to this though and I'm excited to try out LA's Ethiopian options!

jetlagaddict, I'm taking the metro rail to Watts Towers out from Santa Monica. The Blue Line train stops right there, and you can use the Metro Trip Planner to get details about getting there from your location.
If we both take the train it would be fun to try to find each other!

I can't make it to Watts because WORLD CUP!! :-( but I will try and make it to dinner.

If anyone is around earlier, the Watts Towers group is heading to the Page Museum right noe for some sweet tar pit exploration!

Sadly, like so many previous LA residents, the tar pits did us in so we're going to bow out of dinner. Perhaps a sequel in a week or two?
