Kind of a short-notice thing, I know (this is NOT the "BBQ meat-up" discussed previously, that'll be later this summer). As July 4th falls on a Wednesday, and I'll have a houseguest with me this coming weekend, I thought it would be fun to have a little get-together.

I know several of us grow vegetable gardens. Is there any interest in an autumnal harvest-themed food meetup? Not sure what the best month would be; wouldn't necessarily have to be at the very end of autumn. Take some foodstuffs you've grown and either bring it raw or as (part of) a dish of some kind.

Greg_Ace's place is the.. the place! Saturday April 7, start showing up around 4PM or so. Bring some potluck-y foods (Greg will probably smoke some meats for us) and/or beverages (fermented or non). Gaming is going to be a mix of One Thousand Blank White Cards and Cards Against Humanity, and maybe even some regular cards.
And who knows what else?!

Next lunch will be at
Chen's Good Taste (no website of their own, sorry), located on NW 4th near the Chinatown gate.
We meet once a week for lunch somewhere downtown. It's good opportunity to try places you might not have been or go to an old favorite!

Going to be headed over to
County Cork tomorrow night for ye olde Irish music around 7 (music is supposed to start ~7:30). Haven't been there for music before, but the food's pretty good and
the beer list is alright. Parking might be a bit iffy, though.
