Drinking with[out] men's underwear on in Portland

I'm going to be visiting family in the Portland area between November 27th and December 3rd, and I would love to gather sometime toward the end of my trip. A few weeks ago in MetaChat, Lutoslawski told me about a bitchin' sounding men's underwear emporium called UnderU4Men in downtown Southwest Portland.
While we don't have to all buy men's underwear at the same time, it would be cool to time that visit with some mefi-jam-packed local beers and cocktail magic drinkies out on the town. I've not been to Portland in a few years, so please suggest some fabulous places for our extended temporal collision. Suggestion of potential activities beyond mere ingression is of course also welcomed. Looking forward to it!

We are going to watch the Dusty 45s perform at the Secret Society at 9:00 PM this Friday. These folks sometimes light their trumpets on fire while they perform. After the show ends, we'll head to Branch Whiskey Bar for subsequent cocktails and facilitated conversation.

I think the underwear store is pretty close to Tugboat, could be a good time to revisit.

Gosh, is the plan to be dressed in men's underwear while drinking? While I approve of the "Keep Portland Weird" aesthetic, that might get us kicked out of at least some places!

Kask, Clyde Common, and Raven and Rose are also reasonably close and have lovely cocktails. Clyde Common and Kask might be a bit tight, but hey. Trader Vic's is also not too far.
The Multnomah Whiskey Library is also right there, and I do recommend trying to get in there if you can-- but that's emphatically not a meetup location, and you should assume you'll have at least an hour wait to get a seat.

Oceanjesse, are you driving or will you be on public transport? Another option would be to de-couple underpants and drinking, and try for some place on the eastside.
I think of all the places suggested, the only one that might work is Raven and Rose? Whiskey Library is cool but no way to have a meet-up there.

On looking more at their menu, I wanted to point out that pints at Raven and Rose are $7, which like, something about that rubs me a little in a town where no pint should ever be over 4.50.

That's Blazer game prices.
Although I suppose the venue might be nicer....
There's also Higgins a block north of Raven and Rose.
Their beer is slightly less expensive ($6.00/pint), but they also have at nice list of imports.
Also, the burger is amazing.

$7 pints is totally jacked and unacceptable! Maybe we should decouple underwear:drinks, yes. My girlfriend and I are going to be taking public transportation. Origin is most likely around Killingsworth in Northeast Portland. That an ok area for y'all?

Some NE PDX options: Aviary (nice cocktails in their bar), Branch Whiskey Bar (never been but ithe menu looks pretty okay) and Beech St. Parlor (nice infused spirits.)
I like cocktails but do not really go out enough to make a solid recommendation.

Okay, I say let's just do the 29th, and whoever can make can make it. I talked to oceanjesse and he's gonna do underwear shopping on a different day, so my vote is to do beers not downtown.
So why don't we get together in the NE for a change? Since oceanjesse mentioned Killingsworth, why don't we go to the Concordia Ale House?
