Superb Owl Meetup
posted January 17, 2015 3:48 PM RSS | iCal | +googleCal
Sun February 1 at 1:00 PM, Sibrax's House
13807 Southeast 28th Street, Vancouver, WA, USA (Map & Directions)
One room for board games, one room for football-watching, owl appreciation everywhere!
We got a chance to play Colt Express and Survive: Escape from Atlantis recently, and both were great, so we'll probably play at least those two. Football starts at 3:30.
There will be food (most likely chili, chips, and other assorted snacks), and beverages, but feel free to bring something extra if you'd like.

That is some impressively generic beer!
Shall we say our place starting at 1pm?

I will be there then. Even if no one else is!
Just.. you know. Hangin' out.

Hey now, no need to skulk! That makes four of us, plus the owl. It's a party!

He's just looking for a reason to skulk. I'm constantly having to shoo him out of dark corners.

Let us know if he wakes up as a cockroach some morning.

As is the superb owl custom, I plan on assiduously ignoring it.

If no one's watching I'll turn it off. I wasn't sure which activity the "maybes" were interested in.

I think we should play a three-and-a-half hour long game of folded paper triangle football, maybe. We'll do two plays and then spend ten minutes trying to think of funny or audacious ways to endorse the various beverages and snacks we're holding, and then repeat that like thirty times.

That's a novel new usage of the concept of "ignoring".

I second the paper football idea.
We could also pick up a mini nerf football and play somearena living room football.

Fussball. Because it means foot ball.

A paper football mini-tournament does sound promising...

Maybe we can watch a little bit of the Puppybowl? I don't think I've ever watched it.

I think I'm bringing some sophisticated lemon bars, if I get around to making them. Someone showed me a recipe where they're extra tangy and salty.

Sorry, it's looking like we're a no on this! I have midterms this week, and mimo is prepping for a talk out of town. Superb some owls for us.

It's never too late!
If the game is over and everyone else has left, that might be too late.

I made some cocoa-y cookies. They are in flower shapes to show my enthusiasm for the football. I don't have an owl cookie cutter, alas.

I wonder if I'd be able to find the appropriate beer for such an event?
