People can bring their own games of whatever genre and difficulty they like. If people would prefer to meet at a different time or date, I'm sure we can work something out. [more inside]

Our first two installments of Geeks Who Drink trivia at The Rising have been such a success, we're going back for a third go around. Join us, a trivia host who can mostly pronounce all the questions, and perhaps an enthusiastic liquor company representative at 7:30 this Thursday in Inman Square.
Despite being stuck in the corner room at tiny tables, Taters sailed to victory last time at The Rising and we have two gift certificates to spend. Assuming the world doesn't end as a result of the 3rd debate, we'll get our Geeks Who Drink trivia on once again on Thursday at 7:30pm. [more inside]
It's been a while since we had a board game meetup in this area, so let's see whether there's interest in a new one. One of us could host it, or we could meet at a restaurant such as the Blue Shirt Cafe on Davis Square or a conveniently large Panera Bread like the one near Fenway Park. Based on past meetups, Knight Moves seems to have been a bust. A weekend, which would allow for the most play time, would probably be best. When and where sounds best to you all? EDIT:Let's meet at the Blue Shirt Cafe on Davis Square at 2:00 on Sunday, October 30th! Feel free to bring any game or games you'd like to play.
Hey Taters! Since last we spoke, McCabe's
on MassBar & Grille had unceremoniously changed their Geeks Who Drink trivia nights, and we were left wandering the streets of Camberville in search of questions to answer. [more inside]

Does anyone in the Boston area want to meet up and play cards? I'm open to any games less complicated than Bridge and more interesting than War. I don't know any great venues for card-playing off the top of head, but I'm sure we can think of something. Even if you don't know any games yourself, you're welcome to come: For my part, I'll bring one of those big books of card games. EDIT: Let's meet at the Cambridge Public Library at 1:00 this Sunday, April 17th! If not enough people can make that time, date, or place, then all of those things are flexible.
I'll be appearing as a guest on So That Happened, a live talk show at ImprovBoston, Thursday, January 28th at 9:30pm. I have 10 free tickets I can offer to MeFites, so if you're a relatively solid yes, please send me (via MeMail or the email in my profile) an email address under which you can be registered for the guest list. I went and saw this show a couple months ago, and it was lots of fun, but it's always nice to have friendly faces in the crowd, so I hope you can join me.

I had fun meeting a bunch of MeFites, and I'd like to do it again now that I'm coming back on-site! Who's available, who are you representing, what are the good eateries for a brunch/lunch around MIT, and what do you have in the Coin Pool? (I claim 40 hours) [more inside]
