In our apparently never ending quest to find the perfect trivia venue, let's try out McCabe's on Mass this week for Geeks Who Drink trivia. NOTE NEW DAY: Tuesday, 7:30pm, trivia starts at 8. Also - McCabe's takes reservations!
Current reservation is under Horace Rumpole's real name.
Um oops. Reflexively clicked Wednesday in the calendar thingy. But sorry, it is 4/19, not 4/20.

Wait, what was on Tuesday? Oh yeah, band practice, but that's likely to be cancelled. In either case, hope the new place is good. What was it that compelled you to finally decide to see other Trivia places?

Looking for: better sound, better food, better beer. Mostly the only thing The Pub had going for it was location.

In fairness, the wings at The Pub were pretty great. And although his pronunciation was frequently unfortunate, at least the quizmaster kept things moving.
Everything else, not so much.

Personally, I liked the crappy bar food at The Pub, but the sound was atrociously bad. Here's hoping McCabe's is better.

*pours one out for The Pub* Sigh. I like it. But it is possibly the single most convenient bar to my house, so I understand my bias.
Anyway, coming tonight. Somewhat concered about there being enough room as McCabe's is not large in my memory, but I hope to be wrong.

I just confirmed with the restaurant that we would be coming, and that we were now at 12 people--obviously because of GWD rules, we'll need to split into two teams, and because it's a smaller restaurant, we may end up in two sections. Don't forget to let them know you're with the group under my name (see profile).
