Sun May 1 at 1:00 PM, Cambridge Public Library
449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA, USA (Map & Directions)
The last card-game meetup went well, so let's have another one. Let's meet at the library next Sunday, May 1st, at 1:00. That time and venue are flexible: If people would prefer a different time or place, I'll change it.
I will join the meetup only if not_on_display promises to do exactly what they said above.
Seriously speaking, I hope to join this weekend. :-)

Where in the library would you be? I can't commit, but if am able to swing by then, where can I find you. Do I just yell out "HEY WHERE MY CARD NURDS AT!!!" at the top of my lungs?
Probably on the patio in front, assuming nice weather. If it weren't nice out, I'd be the guy down in front with a cribbage board and a bag of decks of cards.

I enjoyed this a good bit, learning two new card games. (Well, really learning one enough to remember and play it more, and the other would require looking at rules to play again.)
I'm going to be out of town this weekend, though. Enjoy!

Sorry we'll miss you, cardioid!
Glad to see more people will attend. Just a reminder that this will happen this Sunday. Hope to see some of the Maybes there as well!

Some of the maybes may be in the "hover and kibitz" category, it that's ok. ;-)

What games were popular last meetup/are you hoping to play this one? I'd love to use my Hoyle to refresh my memory ahead of time — I'm rusty at trick taking games.

I'll be moving that day so I won't be able to attend this one, but I look forward to the next one I can come to!

At the last meetup, we played Ninety-Nine and Scopa. I like trick-taking games, particularly simpler ones like whist or spades, and I also like cribbage, but I'm always happy to try something new, and I'll bring my Penguin anthology of card games.

I'm inside and looking for people with cribbage boards.
Actually I'm going to grab the last square table adjacent to the outdoor patio. I'll be the one there making eye contact with every passing stranger.
