Meetup: Last Minute Memorial Day Meetup
Playland not at the beach is open Monday to celebrate their 5th birthday, I am in town for a few days, at last the excuse you needed to get over to El Cerrito in the afternoon! Surely there are more than a few board gaming, card dealing, and role playing MeFites out there. Let's organize a meetup for mid-May. The afternoon of Sunday May 19th. The location is set to Mountain View but we can change that easily. If you are interested hop in the thread. If you don't like the date/time give suggestions for alternatives. Location will vary depending on the number of people. For groups < 12 I can host at my house in South Bay. If we grow larger we'll find a venue. I have access to some largish areas for up to 30 players. Games to play can be sorted out later.

Proposed: Out of Town Meetup?
My wife (dancingfruitbat) my adorable 1-year-old son and I are going to be in San Diego from February 1st through February 5th and would love to meet up with some MeFites while we're visiting. Except for Friday night we don't have set plans in the evening although we will be meeting with a lot of relatives. The first two nights we will be in the Kearny Mesa neighborhood and then moving on to Pacific Beach for the next few days. We've gotten really excited reading the Convoy Street blog and would be especially interested in a meetup there!

I bought himself a house earlier this year in Eureka, and it's meetup time! There's a MeFite who just touched down in Arcata last month, so let's give him a hearty welcome to our wonderful area.
