East Bay DSA is joining Families Belong Together for a protest at the ICE detention center in Richmond on Saturday, June 30 from 11-2 as part of the national day of action.
More info here. Who is interested? If you need a ride I can pick you up at 10:30 at North Berkeley BART (MeMail me). If other people from MeFi want to go separately and are interested in doing so, we can make plans to meet and protest together.
Saw this after I posted in the metatalk thread about the event! Glad you put this out! I'm not positive I'll make it - I'm scheduled to work Saturday but may be able to be there first...
