Sunday the 28th Sunday, June 11th at 2:00 PM. You know the drill, and if you don't know it, we'll be happy to teach it to you. Bring any games you'd like to play, and don't worry too much about winning or losing. [more inside]
As we do every other weekend, let's meet at the Blue Shirt Cafe in Davis Square at 2:00 to play board games. This time, let's meet on Saturday, May 13th, rather than Sunday the 14th, since that Sunday is Mother's Day. As always, bring any games you'd like and make requests in the thread. [more inside]
The weather has improved. Daylight Savings has pushed sunset to a later, less depressing hour. It's the perfect time to sit indoors and squint at each other. Let's play board games at the Blue Shirt Cafe at 2:00 on Sunday, April 30th. Bring any games you like. If you'd like to play a game you don't own, request it here. [more inside]

Sunday, February 5th Sunday, February 12th Sunday, February 19th!The last meetup went really well and the venue is excellent. That said, this is flexible, so if people EDIT: or Nature Herself would strongly prefer a different time, date, or venue, I'm willing to change it. [more inside]
The last time we met to play board games went well. Let's ring in the new year with a session at the Blue Shirt Cafe on Sunday, January 22nd, from 2:00 to whenever we want to leave. People can bring their own games of whatever genre and difficulty they like. If people would prefer to meet at a different time or date, I'm sure we can work something out. [more inside]
It's been a while since we had a board game meetup in this area, so let's see whether there's interest in a new one. One of us could host it, or we could meet at a restaurant such as the Blue Shirt Cafe on Davis Square or a conveniently large Panera Bread like the one near Fenway Park. Based on past meetups, Knight Moves seems to have been a bust. A weekend, which would allow for the most play time, would probably be best. When and where sounds best to you all? EDIT:Let's meet at the Blue Shirt Cafe on Davis Square at 2:00 on Sunday, October 30th! Feel free to bring any game or games you'd like to play.
Hey Taters! Since last we spoke, McCabe's
on MassBar & Grille had unceremoniously changed their Geeks Who Drink trivia nights, and we were left wandering the streets of Camberville in search of questions to answer. [more inside]
In the Pokémon Go thread, Room 641-A commented that it would be a good meetup activity. Shall we prove her right? [more inside]
Does anyone in the Boston area want to meet up and play cards? I'm open to any games less complicated than Bridge and more interesting than War. I don't know any great venues for card-playing off the top of head, but I'm sure we can think of something. Even if you don't know any games yourself, you're welcome to come: For my part, I'll bring one of those big books of card games. EDIT: Let's meet at the Cambridge Public Library at 1:00 this Sunday, April 17th! If not enough people can make that time, date, or place, then all of those things are flexible.
Much like winter, this week Geeks Who Drink trivia is back at The Pub. Get out your coats and meet us at 8pm on Wednesday. Brr.
The spring snows are coming!? If you thaw out by Wednesday at 8pm, join us for Geeks Who Drink trivia at The Pub in Ball Square.
It's time for another fun-filled, action-packed, death-defying, thrill-seeking, adrenaline-fueled, rollercoaster trivia event. Wednesday at 8pm at The Pub, join the Tater adventure at Geeks Who Drink trivia.
Actually, if we survive this weekend, Wednesday at 8pm the weather should be downright tropical! Let's hope there are no frostbitten Taters at The Pub this week for Geeks Who Drink trivia!
Ah February--the time of year when the snow melts, the birds come back, and everything starts to get green again....or something like that anyway. Join us Wednesday at 8pm for an unseasonably warm Geeks Who Drink trivia event at The Pub in Ball Square.
Do Tufts students come out in the cold? We'll find out Wednesday at 8pm at The Pub, when we attempt another round of Geeks Who Drink trivia domination.
It's time for the first Tater trivia event of 2016! Join us at The Pub at 8pm on Wednesday for Geeks Who Drink trivia. Trivia starts at 8:30.
Joe's crappy broken speaker has sent us in search of a possible new Geeks Who Drink trivia venue. This week we're giving The Pub in Ball Square a shot. NOTE: trivia starts at 8:30pm!
+1 and I are visiting the Boston area. Let's go to Brass Union on Friday, July 24th, around 7. We're also planning to hit up some breweries beforehand; discuss in the thread or send me a Memail if you want to join us!
UPDATE: Change of venue this week--we're heading to Orleans in Davis Square. Big money cash prizes await!
An in-person meetup to play Blizzard's online card game, Hearthstone. We can play against each other, shoulder-surf each other's Arenas, etc. Location and time TBD. Beer would be nice, wifi required. (EDIT: Hearthstone runs on Mac and PC, and iPad 2 or later.) [more inside]
I booked a show for Grant Hart at the Davis Square Theatre in Somerville, MA this evening. Grant will be performing a solo acoustic show, and Brad San Martin of One Happy Island will open. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. 21+. I know Husker Du has a posse on MeFi and it would be great to see some MeFites there.
We're holding a board-and-card-games meetup at backseatpilot's house at 1:00 p.m. on September 22! The given address is not backseatpilot's: If you're coming, MeMail him your RSVP by Wednesday the 18th and he'll send back the location. If you have beginner-to-mid-level games to bring (something not totally impossible to teach to new players), feel free to bring them. [more inside]
We're having a housewarming! For our new

My band, Short Wave, is playing its first gig, at Sally O'Brien's in Union Square, Somerville! Sam Wheeler opens up at 9PM. SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC, PEOPLE! Thanks!
