[UPDATE: seeking hike leader] Middlesex Fells Hike 2018 - pt. 4
[7/9, UPDATES INSIDE- seeking reschedule or alternate hike leader] You guessed it - the next chapter in MeFites Go Hiking (Mass. Edition) has just been published. I have one free weekend morning in Boston in July, and there is no group with whom I would rather frolic in the woods than you all. [more inside]

Hello Seattle!
Hello Seattle! This is my first visit but I don't really know the area at all. I will be in town Aug 30th-Sept 4th and I'd love to meet some other MeFis, maybe whilst drinking some good beers or eating some good (vegetarian friendly) food in the process. Edit: after some discussion I had chosen Highline, but they added a show to their calendar on Sat 9/2 so that option is out. Let's meet up instead at The Stumbling Monk for some board games and beers at 8pm. I am also going to check out Plum Vegan Bistro before for dinner then walk over if anyone would like to join! (1429 12th Ave at 6:30ish).
Return to the Blue Hills!

OR/CA regional campout
After noting the success of previous Oregon-Washington regional campouts, some California MeFites suggested one down thataway. UPDATE: Here is a link to the spreadsheet to coordinate meals, equipment, etc. [more inside]

New Paltz Redux
I'll be in New Paltz on Sunday the 21st and wanted to see if we could turn it into a meetup. [I set the location to New York proper because New Paltz may be too far away for some people to get the meetup notification in their e-mail.] [more inside]

Asheville, Saturday, May 7th & Sunday, May 8th
I'll be passing through Asheville on the evening of Sat, May 7th on my way to visit my brother in Ohio, and hiking in the area with a pal on Sunday May 8th. She wants to go someplace a bit out of the ordinary, if possible, and I'd like to see spring wildflowers and/or waterfalls, if possible. We'd almost certainly be up for drinks and food on Saturday or Sunday night as well - i.e., we'll be out and about and would totally love to have MeFite company. Anyone interested in a day hike and/or dinner? Queer bar recommendations welcome, too.
