For those of you with a friendly competitive streak (you know who you are and I know who some of you are), I will be organizing the MetaFilter 15th Anniversary Pop-Up Mini Golf Chicago Classic -- two separate days where we play mini-golf at the pop-up courses run by City Mini Golf.
Join fellow MeFites in Chicago for our Month of Meetups celebrating MetaFilter's 15th anniversary EVERY! DAY! OF! JULY! (or as close as we manage). All credit for MoM15 idea goes to eamondaly.
(Round 1)
Round 2 will be on Friday, July 25th again starting around 6:30 pm at Lake View High School. After the match, awards will be given and fellowship will be had -- at the Long Room starting at 8 or so. Everyone - even non-competitors - should should us.
And yes, there will be prizes. You need not compete at both or either, but you may not qualify for grand prizes if you do not.

Stared at that so hard trying to figure out how you knew in advance that only 30% of us would be participating.

Unless it somehow rains so hard they close the course, which I bet would have to be pretty hard.
Any folks who can't (or for some inexplicable reason do not want to) make minigolf should still feel free to meet us at Long Room around 8 or so.
