Days when I am in SF and do not yet have anything scheduled or tentatively scheduled include Dec. 30, 31, and Jan. 2.

I am a big fan of brunch! (Brunch can also include drinks.) Has there ever been a metafilter brunch meetup? We could inaugurate such a thing. I would need something with a vegetarian option, and not *too* pricey.

Are there any community potluck meals, movies/music in public parks, or such going on during my visit?

Weee time travel! (I left Hong Kong Saturday at 12:30pm, and arrived in San Francisco around 8:00am the same day!)

Looks like I missed yoga in the park though. Brunch on Sunday sounds good though. 11am? Location suggestion?

Apparently our requirements include: veg-friendly traditional brunch fare, gyozas, and mimosas/kir royals/other brunch cocktails... might be slightly tricky:-P

If this doesn't come together for tomorrow, who's available Monday or Wednesday (doesn't have to be the same time)? Or we could try for later in the day tomorrow.

Ignore the gyoza, this place does have mimosas though. brunch without a long wait is tricky for a large party. Not sure how many of us are in for this one.

This Rosamunde options sounds decent. Would it be better to arrive closer to their opening time of 10:00? At the least, let's congregate there; I'm sure that there will be restaurants serving hearty Mexican brunches and hot chocolate nearby as a fallback option?
