Can I tempt you out for snacks or dinner and beers? I'll be in Tokyo for a textile/fiber arts conference July 2, 3, and back again July 9 and would love to meet some of you in the evening(s). We're coming up on that national tradition known as Super Bowl Sunday. In the past we've gotten together to play games rather than watch the game, but there was always something missing which prevented us from achieving the full on ignore experience: the actual football game in the background being completely ignored. Since we haven't done a Game Night in a while, I thought I'd host one. Rather that try to create a "meal", I thought it might be better to bring snacky-type stuff (along with beverages), so we can focus on games instead of food.

It's been too long, Michigan! How about an early October Meetup in the Ann Arbor / Ypsi area on Sunday, 10/9? It just so happens that a certain Genuine Metafilter Moderator, who is known to appear at libraries, will be appearing at the Ann Arbor Library Sunday afternoon, and a Meetup afterwards would be a good time for all involved.
