I realize this is rather last-minute, but I'd love a meetup that involves a pub, various local alcohols and the inevitable good-hearted mocking of each other's accents. Open to suggestions where to go, it'll be my first time in Scotland.

A recent study at the University of Edinburgh has unearthed evidence of a settlement somewhere to the west of Costorphine. As a keen anthropologist, I was hoping to visit this historic site. I was wondering if any other mefites would be interested in coming along ? [more inside]

Hello, you wonderful glaswegian mefites - i was thinking of coming over ( if the m8 isnt shut) to partake of some culture (paul hill 3pm at streetlevel) and i thought no visit to glasgow is complete with seeing your mefitenesses and some steakbakes from the greggs near central station. Although I do propose the greggs at central station as an initial venue - I'm open to changing it - this is for saturday btw.
