Hello, you wonderful glaswegian mefites - i was thinking of coming over ( if the m8 isnt shut) to partake of some culture (paul hill 3pm at streetlevel) and i thought no visit to glasgow is complete with seeing your mefitenesses and some steakbakes from the greggs near central station. Although I do propose the greggs at central station as an initial venue - I'm open to changing it - this is for saturday btw.

I'll be back in Scotia for the Christmas hols by then but my pregnant wife won't have seen me for a week and we were supposed to catch up Saturday. Count me as a maybe (may be attending, may be a terrible husband). I'll keep an eye on the thread, confirm if poss, otherwise don't wait up. (I should have acces to Mefi on my phone so if ye's decide to head to a pub and you can post it on the day that'd be fandabby).

I think there are 5 Greggs within a 200 yard radius of that one. A couple of Aulds as well. Greggs mince pies are rather good this year.
I am up for a meetup . Hopefully the weather holds off a bit on Thursday . Glasgow is going to be packed on Saturday it was bad enough yesterday when people should have been at work.

When i first got up this morning there was no snow. Then it snowed then it started to clear. We seem to be missing the worst of it .

Today is going to be a mess in Glasgow anywaywith the river of people on Buchanan , Sauchiehall and Argyle Sts. Sometime during the week sounds better.
