Mostlymartha is determined to dance her birthday blues away at Bootie at the DNA Lounge this Saturday. It's also Oktoberfest and there's a special burlesque show by the Hubba Hubba review. If you're not otherwise occupied, why not come?
Mostlymartha is going to be celebrating her dirty, flirty, 26th* birthday and everyone's invited. We'll be going to the DNA Lounge for their Bootie mashup night.

By the way, let not this give the impression I'm the sort of person who "goes dancing". I have not "gone dancing" since college. I have never, to my knowledge, really been "in the club". But I like mashups very much, and it just seems like the sort of thing a person should do before they become an old lady of... 26. Yes. Let's go with 26. I could use all the moral support I can get.

Also, I strongly suspect the cool kids don't get there as early as 10pm. But I'm old, and if I'm not already out and about before that time, I'll likely just stay home and watch old episodes of Masterpiece Theater. Really.

Wahhhh I really want to but I have stuff scheduled on the lower peninsula with my parents who are visiting, and I know I will be metaphorically dead afterwards. Can I live vicariously through you, though?
