...sue me, it's Friday. It's been a while since we ventured into the cuisines of the Mediterranean, so let's stave off the chilly November weather with a comforting meal of Turkish meze at Agora. To avoid any clashes with turkey-day travel, we're doing a weeknight this month. Join us!
If you're new to DC FOODIES: welcome, we'd love to have you join us! This is an informal group of DC-area MeFites who get together approximately once a month to explore world cuisines and cheap eats in the DMV. Family and friends of all ages are welcome.

This spot is convenient to Dupont Circle on the red line as well as the S1/S2/S4 and G2 bus lines.

I've eaten here a number of times (used to live up the street) and it's usually not hard to get a reservation for a bigger group, so I'll plan to book a few days in advance based on RSVPs. Can also confirm it's perfectly okay for brunch but really excellent for dinner.

Their website is annoyingly down at the moment but I'll replace the Yelp link with a real one if they get it up and running before the 20th. This menu looks fairly accurate though. (Although I'm immaturely giggling at the mis-transliteration of cacık as "cack".)

Website's back! They only take up to 5 credit cards so at least some group members should plan to pay with cash or Venmo.
