6031 Kansas Ave NW, Washington, DC, USA (Map & Directions)
Not exactly a traditional DC Foodies meetup, but: I recently posted a question about trying new amari on AskMe, and exogenous mentioned that Don Ciccio e Figli is producing amari right here in DC! Let's go try them next month.
(Getting this one on the calendar early because it has required some schedule-wrangling.)

I'd recommend car/carshare to get to the tasting room, but it is a little under a mile from either Takoma or Ft. Totten on the red line. It's also on the K2 bus line from Takoma.

No reservations are required for the tour and tasting so please feel welcome to just show up!

Depending on how long the tour and tasting takes and how much continued drinking we feel like doing, we could also make a second stop at either 3 Stars or Hellbender which both have breweries nearby.

I don't think I can make it, but have fun!

Aw darn, I'm sorry to hear that! I was scheduling with a MeFite who is leaving the country shortly after so unfortunately there wasn't a lot of flexibility here :(

I'm excited!

Great idea – if the weather is nice I’ll walk over.

When we’ve gone there in the past they’ve had an unlisted tasting of something in-progress.

I don't think I can make this one, but if folks are interested in amaro, there's a great place in my neighborhood (Petworth) that specializes in it and has a pretty large selection: Little Coco's.

Seconding, Little Coco's is awesome and is actually what inspired my AskMe!

I've been to a couple of these - definitely ask if they've got anything new going on in the back. The Luna Amara is my fave.

It's a short walk from there to 3 stars brewery, and if the weather holds it really isn't a bad walk from there to 3 stars then back to Takoma through the neighborhood.

I said I'll be there, but now I have to see if my wife kills me for planning to go without her (she has other plans that day).

Copronymus and I are here! I’m in a denim jacket and mostly black dress.
