It's about to be first Wednesday again! Let's go enjoy burgers and tiny beers and excellent company.
If you're joining us for the first time, the Goat is under, not on, Michigan Avenue and is easiest to get to from Hubbard Street, or by taking the stairs down from Michigan. You can find us at a large table to your left as you enter the restaurant. Several of us have our pictures or phone numbers in our profiles if you'd like extra assurance that you've found the right people.

There is usually karaoke at LiveWire afterwards, if you'd like to keep going after the Goat or prefer to meet up with us later in the evening.

I need to meet up with a friend at the hospital so they can release her to a responsible adult after sedation (and 'meeting people at Northwestern Hospital' is like one of my few guaranteed skills) so I may miss the Goat but maybe not and hope to see folks at LiveWire even if I do.

I have classes on Monday and Wednesday evening this term. So the soonest I'll be able to join everyone again at the Goat will be on 12/6 (when class is not going to be in session). Have fun everyone and hopefully I'll be able to join you again in December.

I'll be by for the early part of the Goat! I'll also have the order form with me for the Girl Scout Fall Product stuff (nuts & candy!) so if you want in on that, this is the time to do it!

In case we don't cross paths, please consider this my order for 3 cans of Salsa Mix and also the dill pickle peanuts I've heard so much about (unless I need to pay up front in which case, we can talk later).

The domestic goat stands 16-24" tall at the shoulder, and weighs 44-310 lbs. if you want to know about different breeds, the fine folks at americangoatsociety.com have you covered.

If you have any remaining questions about what the American Goat Society can do for you, I'll just leave this here:
"For a total of $160 which includes Best Udder rosettes in the senior doe sanction as well as Grand & Reserve rosettes and CC if offered."
