let's help the Greater Chicago Food Depository get food repacked so it's easier for them to distribute to hungry people.
If you're coming, you have to tell the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Go to this link and navigate to the 3/4/2017 date, and select the 1:00 - 3:45 section. You'll have to create a volunteer account with them to register.
If you need a ride, post below and we'll make it happen.
We did this in Janurary and it turned out great. Depending on the ride scenarios, we'll probably have lunch prior to this, but that'll be arranged in the comments below.

Down to just 2 already! These things fill up fast!
If anyone sees this after those last spots are filled up, keep checking in on the calendar now and then - people do drop out. I know when we went this past weekend, one spot opened up that same morning, so it's possible to get in at the last minute.

also, if you're really keen on coming, just come and don't worry about signing up ahead of time. They made room for Denail last time. But give us a heads up if that's your plan, we don't want to overwhelm them.

Thanks for the ride, Eamon! I'll plan on meeting you at the Irving Park brown line stop unless another location makes more sense - just let me know what time. I'm up for doing something before or after.

By the way, the Greater Chicago Food Depository website currently says there are five spots open for tomorrow at 1, if anyone missed the initial signups but still wanted to go!
