Hey there, NYC MeFites! My wife and I will be filling in as trivia hosts this Wednesday at dog-friendly Gowanus watering hole Canal Bar and it would be great to meet some of you as we stumble our way through what will no doubt be a gaffe-prone debut.

Not free this Wednesday, unfortunately, but I love trivia so hope you will keep Mefi posted if you host future events!

We're filling in for the regular host who is on a work trip - there's always trivia on Wednesday. We'll see if we host it again after this outing. :)

The subject of the quiz was Canada, and my team, the Dunning-Krugerites, came in fourth. Which is pretty good, considering there was only one person on the team.
The fourth round, where you had to guess the name of the (Canadian) band, was definitely one of my weak spots, though. I really let my team down with that round.
