In the Weird DC thread, troika mentioned that Churchkey + going to the incredibly bizarre yet oddly charming Monarch Novelties could be a great meetup combination, so I say: why not? We'll meet up at Monarch at noon, and then hang out at Churchkey until whenever. Feel free to drop in at any time in the afternoon.

I'm down for any of these probably, but Monarch has unusual hours. I think on Saturdays they're only open from, like, 11am-1pm or something.

Ah yes, looks like we might have to get creative with the timing here. Churchkey has lunch hours on Saturday so we could make it an afternoon thing.

I haven't been to a Meetup in forever. And only once in DC. That sounds appealing. I think I'm open to any dates, and as someone coming up from Hampton Roads, that Saturday afternoon thing sounds particularly nice.

So far the 14th does look like the best date overall - sorry, C'est la D.C., maybe next time? :/ So let's say meet over by Monarch at noon, check that out, and then head over to the magical beerland that is Churchkey.

Just a heads up that I have class until four that day so I'll miss Monarch but I think Bulgaroktonos will probably go and I can meet up with you all at Churchkey at five thirty or six. Buy me tons of awesome crap!

I just hopped on the bus heading down there. If I'm a few minutes late it's because I was waylaid by some pancakes. Mmm pancakes.
