Former Metafilter Project being shown in Park Slope

I'm opening a little show at Lucey's Lounge in Park Slope, hanging some of my "Impermanence" prints and photos on wood. These are large images of feathers, decorated skulls and butterflies. There will be an extended Happy Hour featuring some of their awesome cocktails made with homemade mixers and syrups. There may or may not be popcorn, and there's an awesome pizza spot next door. Conveniently located on 3rd Ave and 10th st in Park Slope right off the 4th Ave/9th St R and F stop, I hear there's lots of roads too! [more inside]

Picnic in the gardens

Come to the gardens in Yonkers where I work and have a potluck picnic. As an outside event that depends heavily on weather, the date for this event could easily change. So definitely check here before heading out the door! [more inside]

Cherry Blossom Picnic

Come to the gardens in Yonkers where I work and have a potluck picnic under the cherry trees.
As an outside event that depends heavily on weather and when the trees blossom, the date for this event is likely to change.
So definitely check here before heading out the door! I'm putting the day down as the 18th even though I may have to sneak away at 2pm to give an official tour of the place. [more inside]

You can just take and not give if you don't have stuff to trade! Anybody interested in meeting up and trading some plant cuttings or succulent leaves for propagating? There must be other windowsill gardeners here with lots of plant babies... [more inside]

Picnic in walled garden in Yonkers

I work in a public park in Yonkers. It is highly spectacular and I keep thinking that I should invite a bunch of people up here to have a picnic under the cherry trees. [more inside]

PDX harvest fest/potluck

I know several of us grow vegetable gardens. Is there any interest in an autumnal harvest-themed food meetup? Not sure what the best month would be; wouldn't necessarily have to be at the very end of autumn. Take some foodstuffs you've grown and either bring it raw or as (part of) a dish of some kind.
