I'll be in Seattle the weekend of April 8-10, and I'd love to see you all. Yes, all of you. Saturday evening works best for me - 7:30? 8 pm? But I leave it to more experienced Seattleites to choose a venue. mrzarquon will be in town as well, so you get two for the price of one! Site confirmed: Shorty's it is! I'm in town for the weekend, and was already planning to meet with folks at Shorty's before knowing about Jordan, Jess GO!. But I am stubborn and propose we meet there again. And then I am planning to go to the Cinerama's 3D showing of Tron Legacy at 7pm, for those who want to come along.

That tattered fragment of the ghost of its former self, the Fun Forest sees its last weekend ever fall on the first weekend of the New Year. After 7 PM, Sunday, January 2nd, 2011, there will no more rides, games, lazer tag or bumper cars. So, I propose Bumper Cars at 5 PM and then, after 7 PM, conversations that sparkle like wine, with finger foods and beverages on the side, at a warm, convivial and comfortable venue location to be determined later but not far from the Seattle Center. Maybe a venue along the lines of the 1st Avenue Elysian--that was a fun meetup... [more inside]

I'll be visiting Seattle! Word on the street (thanks lattiboy!) is that Cactus on Alki has a very good happy hour from 3-6. Food is really great and $5 margaritas are very boozy. 3PM Sunday @ Cactus on Alki sound good to people? [more inside]

y2karl will lead us on a tour of Lake Washington by canoe. The WA 520 bridge will be closed this weekend for an annual inspection, making the experience more quiet and lovely. Come for the canoeing, stay for the drinks. Or just do one or the other. [more inside]
