Pre-Meetup Meetup at Borderlands Books

So captivepredator and I were talking about a pre-meetup meetup on Saturday before the Writers with Drinks event. If you can't go to WwD or if you just want EVEN MORE Mefite time, come hang out with us at Borderlands. (It's just a few blocks away from the main meetup!)
I've put in an email to Borderlands to see if we can reserve space but haven't heard back yet; I'll update if they get back to me.
At 3:00, Marie Brennan will be reading from her new fantasy/natural science novel, Labyrinth of Drakes. It's fourth in a series written as memoirs by a naturalist. (io9 loved the first book.) I haven't read any of them yet, but I hope to be there for the reading anyway.
At any rate, I don't know when her event will be over, but I'm guessing 4:30? That's when I have the meetup down for officially starting. I'm hoping we can grab a table in the cafe and anyone who wants to hang out and chat can do so, with occasional wandering over to purchase books and returning to show off our loot. I might pack a pocket-sized game or two, too (bring your games if you have them!).
If you haven't been to Borderlands, it's an excellent science fiction/fantasy/horror bookstore, with new, used, and signed books. They also have magazines, zines, novelty postcards, and odds and ends. It connections internally to Borderlands Cafe, which has hot and cold drinks, pastries, etc.
Hopefully, I'll print a sign for the table; you can also look for me (shorter hair than before, with blue-green and purple chunks).
NOTE: According to Google Maps, Borderlands is less than a 10-minute walk from The Make Out Room, where Writers with Drinks is happening.

Borderlands never got back to me, which is out-of-character for them, but I should be there by 2:45 or so. I'm wearing a royal blue cardigan, grey slacks, and a purple top, and I have brown/blue-green/purple hair.

Borderlands got back to me just now. They're holding 4 seats for us in Marie's reading for those who want to arrive by 3. And they say "if you are coming to Marie's event, which I expect will end between 4:30 and 5:00 pm, you should have no trouble at all grabbing a table once we reassemble the place."
