If you like facts or fun or fcrawfish, Brooklyn Brainery is having an awesome party at the City Reliquary in Williamsburg on July 31.
Tired of using all of your knowledge gleaned from Metafilter to scare strangers at cocktails parties? This is the event for you. Tired of not eating things with claws? This is the event for you. Tired of not drinking cheap beer? This is the event for you.

Do you have to show up exactly on time? I have a BBQ I said I'd attend earlier in the day, but I wouldn't mind rounding the day out with crawfish (though also count me in as another person not big on trivia participating...is that going to be a problem?)

And nope, don't have to show up exactly on time. We'll be crawfishing and... whatever else we'll be doing the whole time. Trivia is going on at 6 and is totally optional!
I am not big on trivia either! That's why this will be the best trivia, which is defined as "trivia to which I might know the answers, which means it is not about The Beatles."

The City Reliquary is a great little museum, full of NYC ephemera and strange collections. I am glad this is being held there. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend, as I work Sundays, but encourage all NYC Mefi members to attend.
