I'm the President- Elect of a relatively small Rotary group. In two weeks, we're having our 10 yr Anniversary party & transfer of power ceremony. It's fully hosted with drinks and food and will be at a great location.
I've been around for almost 10 years but have never met a fellow Mefi in person and I thought that this would be an awesome opportunity for people to gather.
A little background on the group: we're very lively (for a volunteer organization) and ecclectic. We're over 50% women, have many members under 40, and we meet in Hillcrest (local San Diegans know) so we have a strong LGBT contingent (while we're over 70% straight).

I'd like to add my congratulations as well! The event starts a little early for me, so I'm not sure I can attend.
