Ooh! It's a bit of a drive & I've historically just lurked on mefi & never gone to a meetup before so it's an optimistic maybe for me, I'll watch this thread with interest to see what you all decide to do

We are wide open! Bit of a road trip for us, too, but I have promised under_petticoat_rule that I will bring him to every New England state, and we still haven't been to Connecticut.

I'd just have to roll the dice, so any day would do. When I think of CT, my first thought is Rein's Deli, because it's a good place to stop for lunch and take a leak on the way to NY. Oh, Connecticut. The Merritt Parkway is one of the funnest roller coasters to drive.

I'm seeing two votes for 4/27 and none for 4/20 so that settles that.

For a location I was thinking of Heirloom Market in Wethersfield, which is an old seed company that was converted into a little grocery/bake shop. It's about as much on the way to NYC as Rein's is but I feel like it's got more space for groups to socialize. I'll finalize details on this now.

OMG the venue looks SO Connecticut. QUAIIIINT AF! And a much better venue than Rein's, agreed. Still a maybe, but I have the date on my calendar.

Sorry folks, the map widget isn't working right for whatever reason which prevented me from finalizing this for several weeks.

I just got here and am in line. There are tables in the greenhouse in the back — I’m thinking of setting up there. Look for the white dude with a stack of games in a colorful shirt in like 5 minutes.
