I'm going to be in San Francisco on Saturday, 12 March, and would love to see you crazy awesome people. How about meeting at the Buck Tavern at 5:30?

PBZM and I are interested, but as usual won't find out whether he's working Saturday until the Tuesday before. Fingers crossed although I'm not sure whether they're crossed for "yay, a meetup!" or "yay, he's got work!".

The rule is, you have to paint the front of your body blue and the back green and run up and down Market St. naked, shouting "MEFI ROCKS YO" and if you manage to get arrested (a big if, there), we'll encourage the mods to mention it in the next podcast.

Beware traffic and delays around the Civic Center this afternoon -- apparently there's a St. Patrick's Day parade down Market Street, and Market is closed until 4:30 and a lot of buses are re-routed. Civic Center BART may be full of drunken people in green.

Holy shit, I'm coming to a meetup. I tried to make a cake to bring, but it didn't come out right. Too tender and it fell and it has too much rosemary (rosemary orange bundt cake) and it cracked into about 5 pieces when I unmolded it. I am frustrated, and will have to drown my sorrows in beer.

I'm going to suggest a new place (!! I know!): Buck Tavern, on Market at Gough. Easily MUNI-able and a short walk from Civic Center BART. It's owned by former firebrand supe Chris Daly. It has food, too!
I vote for getting our drink on starting on the early side: 5:30?
