For our DC FOODIES July August September October meetup...okay, so it's been a while. We're going to try take 2 on Fava Pot, an exciting new-ish Egyptian place in Arlington, VA. Hope to see you all there!
"But capricorn, what the heck is DC FOODIES? Is this the secret cabal I'm not allowed to join?" We're a group of DC-area MeFites who have been informally gathering for world cuisine and cheap eats in the area for the last couple of years, and regulars and newcomers are both welcome!

The kiddos and their 730&830 bedtime mean I need to schedule this sort of thing with She Who Keeps The Schedule, so I'll see when we get a little closer to the day.

D'oh! I need to keep a better eye on IRL, because I just noticed this, and I live slightly less than 5 minutes away from Fava Pot. (On the bright side, I need to check out the restaurant now.) Hope I'm paying attention for the next one!
