In an attempt to revive the dormant monthly downtown lunch-up, I'm suggesting we go grab some bites at Taste of Chicago.
It's a shadow of what it once was but it's also in the shadow of my office building (metaphorically at least).
I'll figure out where we should meet depending on attendance and stuff closer to Thursday. (I'm putting in the atm that shows up on Google maps for now to fool IRL into accepting it.)

Let's just go ahead and meet at the intersection of Monroe and Columbus, near listed in the invite originally.
Restaurants that are going to be there all week are listed here.

* Food and beverage tickets are sold in strips of 12 tickets for $8.50, which includes $2.50 charge for Taste amenities. editor's note: *makes jackoff motion in ever-so-slight protest*
* “Taste Of” portions priced at $2.50 or less.
* Food and beverage ticket strips will be available for purchase at the festival.
According to the website the following restaurants will be there on 7/9 in the pop up restaurant sections:

Luke's Lobster
Puffs of Doom (editor's note: this listed on the site as "Puffs and Doom", a name I vastly prefer)

i misread your post about pop-ups, and thought those were the ONLY restaurants at taste of chicago.
