Lunch Up--Food with Us

Tue October 14 at 1:00 PM, Eataly
43 East Ohio Street, Chicago, IL, USA (Map & Directions)
For this second Tuesday, we're going to Eataly (as mentioned here and here). I do hope some of you can join us! I suggest meeting at I Panini but we can meet at the Rosticceria if that's the majority opinion.
I suppose the (sudden and unexpected to hear some people talk!) onset of wintery like weather may quash the Lunch Up momentum before it really starts, but I hope not. If it's easier to do a same place/same time, let's discuss what that might be. (I would nominate Pierogi Heaven).
FOLKS I READ THE CALENDAR WRONG AGAIN. Are we meeting today (which is the second tuesday) OR NEXT WEEK?

I would not trust my assessment of whether it's today, given how highly respected I am as a professional.

garlic, you probably hit a mileage threshold. Probably time to take them in to get the oil and filter changed.

Marathons and being buried paper are both things that good people do but they are not themselves good things.
Good things: that damn sandwich I had at Eataly!

I am glad those who made it out made it cause today otherwise sucked. Except biking home in the pouring rain. That was actually very fun.

I am thinking of going out on a bike ride in the rain tonight. Glad to hear I'm not the only one that finds that strangely fun.
CONGRATS ON THE MARATHON GARLIC!!!
I still think about the sandwich I had at Eataly a couple of months ago, mushroom and spinach on a crusty bread. Best sandwich I ever ate.
