Sun July 13 at 6:00 PM, Square Roots Festival
4544 North Lincoln Avenue, Chicago, IL, USA (Map & Directions)
Inspired and informed by this thread and because at least 2 other MeFites plan to be there and because there was nothing scheduled for Sunday yet, I'm going to go ahead and make this official and say we should meet up to see (at least) Moon Hooch at the Square Roots Festival.
There are more details on Moon Hooch in flex's outstanding post. They are performing at the North Stage at 6 pm and I'll suggest we can meet up there somehow unless anyone else has a different suggestion or preference. (If anybody who doesn't know me is going to be there, I'll post a picture of me and what I'm wearing tomorrow.)

I will probably be there at 5 pm to see Chicago's own Midnight Moxie at the South Stage; I don't know much about them except that I like the three songs on their site and this description speaks to me:

Midnight Moxie was once described by a stranger as “a basketful of kittens playing rock and roll,” which delighted the band to no end. The all-lady trio, born and raised in Chicago, is known for blending pop and rock song styles with doo-wop-inspired vocals.

There's a bunch of other acts and things to do and beer so you should check it out.

Heading out now! If it seems like we'll miss the show, we'll probably just skip out and head for food.
