Like a (Chicago) bridge over (fairly un)troubled waters... it's another MoM15 event!

Sat July 5 at 9:30 AM, Wells Street Bridge House
West Upper Wacker Drive & North Wells Street, Chicago, IL, USA (Map & Directions)
Join us for a tour of Chicago's moving bridges! Jim Phillips, retired civil engineer and author of the e-book "Two Miles – Eighteen Bridges", will take us on a walking tour of six of the Chicago River bridges before boarding a water taxi and gliding under 12 bridges on the way to Michigan Avenue.
Seating is very limited (8 at the time of this writing), so buy your tickets ASAP! Please indicate "Yes" ONLY IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED TICKETS so people can keep track of how many spaces are left. If seats do fill up and you're still interested, respond "Maybe" and I'll investigate the possibility of a private tour.

Crap, I very much want to do this, but may not be able to make Saturday morning. I'll have to see if I can move my plans around.

Okay - I've stopped being weirdly overly polite to see if anybody else really wanted to go and booked 2 tickets for me and mine. According to the website, looks like 2 more are still available.

We're going to stop by Lovely, Too on the way down if anyone has any special requests.

We are sitting in a brown lune train before Belmont stopped with mechanical problems if anyone is also waiting for a southbound train.

Pop quiz, what's better than a Saturday afternoon nap after learning, fellowship, beer, and bratwurst?

Trick question, the answer is nothing. Nothing is better.
