Cheese and Booze in the OC

After the LA meetup recently I have decided to have another go at organizing an OC/South LA meetup.
And what's better for a meet up than cheese! I want to try Knafeh (A near eastern cheese pastry, deep fried with syrup and covered with pistachios) and Anaheim's Knafeh Cafe seems like a good place to give it a shot. I figure we could start off these for cheese and hit some nearby bar for drinks after.
Let me know if metafilter is interested before I hit the place on my lonesome.

Should we just start throwing out date/time ideas? I'm generally free most evenings except Thursdays. What'd you have in mind?

I mean anytime on Sunday, but only Monday evenings would work for me.

Anytime Sunday or Monday evening works for me. Should we just pick a day and time and switch this over from proposed to scheduled? Might get some more interest once it's finalized.

On Feb 9th afternoon I'll be in Long Beach. I don't know how long I'll be in LB, so I'm putting myself down as a 'maybe' for now.

Haven't been to a lot of bars right in the area but a quick glance at yelp makes it appear there are quite a few options

I want to thank everyone for making it and refurbishing my dented belief that an OC meetup could ever happen.
I especially want to thank Deoridhe for making the longest drive!
The cheese was melty and sweet and oh-so-good and all you people who didn't show really missed out!
