Freeplay at Ground Kontrol

As part of the XOXO festival, MetaFilter is sponsoring an afternoon of gaming at Ground Kontrol, the awesome 80s throwback arcade/bar. All the games will be on freeplay from 2pm to 5pm and the venue will normally be closed to all but XOXO attendees. If you're not lucky enough to be one of the ~500 attendees of XOXO, there should be room for MeFites to enjoy the space as well, just tell the doorman "I'm with the MetaFilter Meetup" to get in without a XOXO pass.

Huh, I'm not sure if it's all ages since they serve beer, but then again I think most bars I see are all ages until a certain time of night. Maybe give Ground Kontrol a quick call and ask them if the 2-5pm private party on Friday is all ages or 21+?

On a normal day, GK doesn't serve ANYTHING before 5pm. But since it's a private event, yeah, call.
