Monthly Brooklyn Board Game Meetup

192 East 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY, USA (Map & Directions)
Our August meetup will be Saturday the 17th. Bring your games, snacks and/or drinks. Please post in the thread what you're bringing so others can make sure they don't bring the same thing, and/or so they can drool over the thought of homemade cookies. These meetups usually last 8-10 hours, so feel free to come over even if you can't make it for the first hour or three.
As previously, we'll be starting at 2pm.

We may want to hold off on Power Grid since we played it last time, but then again, this is going to be y'all's last board game meetup before you depart for Boston, yes?

Unrelatedly, while I have a bunch of people in my home, would someone mind showing me what I'm doing wrong when I try to pump up the tires of my bike? It has been sitting forlornly in the bedroom (or should I say the Dominion Room), getting no use.

Sure grobstein beat us all last time, but he clearly cheated by co-opting the power of the state as evidenced by his dominance of communist east Germany. The markets were rigged. RIGGED I SAY!

so... i'm dog sitting this weekend. the dog is staying at my place but i'm not sure if i should leave her alone around my cat for too long? it'll be a see-as-you-go type thing, so i think i'm gonna have to change my rsvp to a maybe :/

Grobstein is moving to Boston, so his various Dominion expansions which have lived at my place are going with him. Thanks for letting us use them for so long!
We're hoping to replace those games over the next few months so that our collective Dominion mania can continue unabated.

Date for the next meetup is still up in the air as I wait for various course syllabi, so I don't yet have anything to report on that front. HOWEVER, I can tell you that I have just placed orders for Dominion, Dominion: Seaside, and Dominion: Guilds, so we will not have to go without.
