Following up on this question, I'd love to meet you Bay Area MeFites and, oh, I dunno, drink. We'll be meeting at The Sycamore on 17th and Mission at 8:00PM on Saturday the 11th.
I'm in town Thursday the 9th through Sunday the 12th, and don't know where this meetup should be held (suggestions please!) but do know that I'd like to attend at least some part of SFEMF, if anyone is interested. Saturday works best for me, but I'm open to Friday as well.
Sign me up! For the meetup, that is. I'm already signed up for the benefit. As a donor, not a performer.

Sycamore sounds fab. I will either be there in fancy scary outfit or I will have gone home to change. If any mefites want to come to my gig, I'll be at the Cinch on Saturday 4-7 for a benefit for NO on Sit/Lie. Come see me, contribute to the cause, and I'll buy you a drink!

At the risk of exposing myself as a sunny afternoon lush, I can report, as of 30 minutes ago, that The Sycamore retains it's awesomeness. Delicious beer, yummy foods, and a carafe of sangria is only $12! (Yes, I had some. Okay, a lot. Don't judge me.)
