Lets get together for a late-summer afternoon of board and card games! No experience necessary! Game Haus is a laughter-filled place in Glendale that has over 10,000 games, from strategic board games to party games like Pictionary. We usually get a mix of experienced players to help guide us and people like me, who have never played most of the games, and everyone is really patient. It's always a great time. Plus, they love us! I will be hosting a Games Day in my home on Sunday, June 14th, from 3 PM until the last person leaves (which will likely be at least midnight). Games on hand include Tichu, Poker, Ticket to Ride, Blokus, Pegs and Jokers, Scrabble, Boggle, etc. People are welcome to bring their own games as well. We tend to split up into groups if there are enough people. Current expected attendee count is 6-8 but I would love a few more and I'd love to meet one or more Mefites in person. [more inside]

An in-person meetup to play Blizzard's online card game, Hearthstone. We can play against each other, shoulder-surf each other's Arenas, etc. Location and time TBD. Beer would be nice, wifi required. (EDIT: Hearthstone runs on Mac and PC, and iPad 2 or later.) [more inside]
