Howzabout we kick off 2017 with a little fun and laughter by restarting our semi-regular meetups at Game Haus for a few hours of games?

If you've never been, Game Haus is tabletop gaming cafe. They have over 10,000 games, and for a $5 cover charge you can play all the games you want. There is a small cafe but they don't serve alcohol. People mostly forget about their phones, and at times it can be hard to hear over all the laughter.
It's usually first come, first served, but once we have a count we can reserve a table with a credit card. (MeFites who are able have been generous about using their card, but that's not a guarantee.)
Also, they love us!
Oh, and don't worry at all if you don't know how to play any games! I didn't know any of the games I played and that goes for almost everyone else. We'll even do an open-hand run-through if it's a bit confusing.
If you are interested, throw out some January dates and times and I'll set up a poll.

I'd love to make this one! I'm availabile a fair amount of time on the weekends. I have conflicts on the afternoon of the 7th, all-day on the 8th, evening on the 20th, morning on the 28th, all-day on the 29th, and I'm up in the air about the 19th and 21st. I'm also free from midafternoon into the evening some weekdays.

At the moment--yes i am available weekend evenings--i prefer Saturdays.
And Every other Thursday evening is good starting with Jan. 5th.

Happy New Year! I set up a Doodle poll and included a choice of earlier or later start time for each day. Hopefully that will streamline the next step. If you don't have a preference please check BOTH boxes for the day! (Meetups typically last four hours.)

You guys. I moved here in October and have been missing my board game friends. I'm very excited. Some friends invited us over for "board games" and we played trivial pursuit. I was not amused.

As of right now, the weekend of Feb 11-12 has the most votes, with four votes for afternoon times on each day. There are more in Feb with three votes, so I'll give this another week or so.

I really am looking forward to this get together and at the same time my calendar is starting to fill up for future weekends!
Perhaps we should pick a time/date soon so interested parties can safely set the date aside and we can start the process of figuring out reservation logistics?

Sorry, the time got away from me. I'm going to choose Saturday, Feb 11 daytime as it ties for most responses and is farthest out, giving people time to find this if they haven't already. We can adjust the time if needed.
