Criterion Sundays: Topsy Turvy

Sun February 10 at 6:00 PM, ocherdraco's apartment (#4D)
192 East 8th Street, Brooklyn, NY, USA (Map & Directions)
Last night's screening of Diabolique was a lot of fun! On to the next Criterion Sunday: each weekend we* will gather for a potluck dinner and watch one of the hundreds of Criterion Collection films available through Roku/Hulu Plus. This week (2/10): Mike Leigh's TOPSY-TURVY, "an unexpected period delight from one of contemporary cinema’s great artists." *ocherdraco and (The Rt Hon.) MP, and friends, including non-mefites
Potluck portion (if you're interested) starts at 6 - we'll be serving some kind of (vegan) group dish - if folks can bring either a vegan food item or beverage (beer is always a good pick), that's appreciated, but what's most important is to bring yourself. Movie starts at 7 on the dot.

Also: PLEASE RSVP, even if it's just to say maybe. This is being held in our living room, which is not infinitely large, so we need to know how many people are coming, and whether we should expect you.

On deck for February 17: Douglas Sirk's All That Heaven Allows.

I have yet to make it to one of these @ocherdraco's apt meet-ups -- I would like to come to at least one of this weekend's events, but I don't know which one I'll be able to make. How's the street parking in the neighborhood?

Street parking is pretty good; you may not find a spot right on my block, but you'll almost certainly find one on an adjacent block.

Ugh, blizzard. Looks like it's gonna be another no-Brooklyn weekend for me.
