Wanted: Bay Area French Conversationalists

I'd like to have somewhat regularly scheduled French conversation meetups. Anyone else in the Bay Area interested? If so, please throw out some good meeting times/ideal frequency/locations.
UPDATE: Moved to Monday the 13th...
Moi aussi! A Bartable location would be good for me. Other than that, I'm not super picky.

Wow. firemonkey and I just started a French class. It will probably be awhile before we can do much conversing, but it would be great to come listen.

I would love to, but I've only got about five hours of Pimsleur and five hours of Rosetta Stone, so unless conversation drifts to whether someone is or is not swimming (in present tense) I won't be able to add much to the conversation.
That said, I also would love to come and listen.

Great! I'm glad people are into it. (jaybeans, I'll see if my friend Charlene can come - she only knows how to ask "Where is the beach?" so you guys should have plenty to talk about.)
Café de la Presse sounds like a fine place to launch our group. Relatively near BART and with the requisite vibe française to get us in the mood.
Re: date, how about sometime the week of September 6 (although not on the 6th...)? I'm assuming evenings will work for most although as for me, I have flexibility in my schedule so late afternoon could be okay too. No Wednesdays or Thursdays though.

I don't know if the lack of my surely fascinating aquatic conversation should hold people up, but I'll be out the 9th through the 16th on my belated honeymoon.

I probably won't be able to contribute much to any discussion more complex than the location of the beach (my vocabulary has atrophied terribly), but I'm down. If Wednesdays are out, then Sundays are the next best.

J'aimerais participer.... Ma femme est demi-française. Weekends are definitely better as we are down on the peninsula, and unfortunately later in September as we aren't around for a bit...
We have terrible french at the moment what with not having been back for AGES, and really need to get back into speaking properly.

Yeesh. If you guys aren't meeting up in a bar you're meeting up and conversing exclusively in French. I guess I shall have to hope for another outdoor meetup (especially with San Francisco finally entering its warm season).
