Nothing fancy, just meeting up with people from the internet over some drinks in Baltimore. [more inside]
Tuesday from 6 to 9, it's board game night at The Windup Space. I know some MeFi folks have gone in the past. Anyone else interested in making it a bona fide meetup this time?
The monthly board game happy hour at the Windup Space is February 26 at 6:00 p.m. Anyone interested?
Hey Baltimore mefites! I'm here for a short time (til about right before Thanksgiving) for work and wanted to see if anybody wanted to meet up, get a drink, whatever. I have no car, a weird schedule, and am kinda/sorta near Lexington Market.
restless_nomad is coming to town this weekend! The meetupening is tentatively set for Liam Flynn's Ale House, shortly before 4 on Saturday. The bar is having a Gruit Ale (beer brewed without hops) contest at that time; possibly some of us will also bring light card games. Come on down! [more inside]
Let's see what Monday brings, but it's as likely as not that this meetup will be postpwned by the storm. The meetup in September was fun. Let's do it again! The Windup Space has a regular board game night on the last Tuesday of the month. Leave a note if you think you can make it.
It's been almost a year since the last meet-up in Baltimore. Let's do it again. [more inside]
If you happen to be attending Otakon this weekend, check out my sister and I presenting on the topic of and teaching people to play the traditional Japanese card game Hanafuda. [more inside]
Potluck at the Bromo Seltzer Tower, including a tour by our gracious host sonascope. Leave a comment stating what you're bringing and what time you think you will arrive, so we know when to start the tour.
I'm here in Baltimore on business and will be here until August 26th. Would love to meet local MetaFilter people. I'm staying close to the Inner Harbor but do not want to have the meetup there because this really isn't my favorite part of town. I'll be busy during the weekdays but my one weekend and weekday evenings are wide open. I don't have a car but am not averse to cabbing it. So let me know what you think. I'd love to meet all of you. Talk to you soon!
