Fri July 27 at 10:30 AM, The Baltimore Convention Center
1 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD, USA (Map & Directions)
If you happen to be attending Otakon this weekend, check out my sister and I presenting on the topic of and teaching people to play the traditional Japanese card game Hanafuda.
From the program guide:
"The Japanese flower cards known as hanafuda have been referenced in anime as diverse as Summer Wars and Naruto. Hanafuda has a unique and fascinating history dating back to the 1600s. What’s hanafuda all about and what games can you play with the famed flower cards? Come by and find out! We’ll be teaching everybody how to play Koi Koi (the game featured in Summer Wars) and giving out nifty door prizes!"
This is my first time actually presenting at a convention and the first time for my sister and I both presenting at an anime con. I don't know if any Mefites are going to be attending, but we'd love to have your attendance and support.

I hope this went well. I would have definitely checked it out if it had been on a weekend.
