Is Barcade still choked to the brim on Saturday nights? I used to live down the block and you could barely move in there past 10 PM.

Yeah, I really want to attend this, and probably will, but have to agree with Griphus that Barcade is a cold uncomfortable and loud hipster zoo on a Saturday night. It's hard to get the schmoopy going in there.

Crap. I saw 8:00 PM somehow. 4:00 might be problematic for me vis a vis toddler playdate.
Which in some ways is exactly like a Mefi Meet-up without booze, of course...although sometimes I spike the apple juice for fun.

We are thinking 4ish to 9ish to avoid the crowd and let people with kids or other parties later to get in and be seen. A pal'o mine is having a party that night, so people who can't make it can come party with us there later. Also, I just realizied the Pats/Tebow game is at 8 that night, so I might lead an away team from THAT party to a nearby sportsy bar to see it, if it isn't on somewhere.
The second, later party is in Astoria.

Okay, I got back from a mini ski trip earlier today and the plan is evolving, however it is still a three part plan. Barcade, then here at our place, then the Astoria party. My attorney is running a marathon in South Carolina (no he is not Ric Flair) that day and his plane lands at JFK at 8 or 9. So we come back here and watch the pats game, let the counselor grab a rinse, eat cake, then go to the late night party.
Special bonus for anyone who will load this on their handheld and help me use it as entrance music to the late night party.

Stage one, Barcade as above, though we will probably leave at 8 to intercept my lawyer.
Stage two, back here in Woodside for the Pats/Broncs game, drinks, pumpkin buttersctoch fudge and my lawyer in a towel. 9pm to about 11pm.
Stage 3, a house party in Astoria with the younger set. Like, 20 years younger. But they are good kids.
So, I do not expect anyone to endure all 3 stages. MeFimail me for locations of stages 2 and 3 by, say, 2:30 tomorrow afternoon if you want to see what that is all about. Though I have a handheld now so one could ping me later than that, and get the locations. Stage 3 goers can rally here or get the location twixt 9-11 pm as I'll be here and fire up this machine.

We got back here and it was 14-0 Pats then I got the chills and it was 41-7 Pats and I went into flu-mode. We never made it to the third party, at all. Sorry Gazer and Fuq and anyone else who was perhaps on board for that. The 40, it is felling.
Thanks for coming out everyone. Next year I'll try to make it a ski-weekend minifest, bring your own painpills!
