Would anyone be interested in playing Power Grid? I'd like to dust that game off for a round.

I've always been curious about Power Grid, so yes, bring it along.

I haven't played Power Grid, but I'm told is pretty good. I'm interested.

I'll be there for this one, too, with my usual assortment of games.

So nick and I did a quick drive by of Roadside Attraction on 12th and Yamhill. Based on the fact that it's HUGE, has anyone been inside? Would it do for a game day? It opens at 3pm, so we could do a slightly later than usual time.

It tends to be pretty dark inside and doesn't really have any large tables inside. There are large tables outside, but we've sort of missed the outside boat for the year, weatherwise.

It's like someone needs to open a game store pub with large tables.

I'll do that, at a loss, right after I win the lottery.

If I don't have a work shift, I will definitely show up to this. Calder is awesome, in general. We should consider going in together on purchasing "Viktory II", which is apparently like a cross between Risk and Settlers of Catan.

@ Corduroy - Viktory II looks like it could be fun. Have you ever played it?

nickthetourist, I haven't played Viktory II. It sounds like it could be fun, though.

Unrelated to games but pertaining to game day: anyone read Discworld? I picked up Snuff because I was too impatient to wait my turn at the library. I am now done with it! If anyone else wants to read it, let me know and I'll bring it for passin' along.
