Showing some art at St. Johns Art Walk

This Friday evening is the St. Johns Art Walk, an event in North Portland where local artists team up with local store owners to show off art in various storefronts in downtown St. Johns. I'll be participating, showing off some of my geometric painting work at Tinker-Maker Toys.
The event runs 5-8 and is basically a really casual sidewalk crawl; downtown St. Johns is all of three or four blocks and it's a bunch of friendly shops, some of 'em with snacks and wine and such.
I've got a bunch of my finished art up on my art site if you're curious what sort of stuff you'd be seeing, though there's more than a dozen other folks participating and in past years as just a neighborhood attendee I've really enjoyed the whole variety of stuff on show, including lots of smaller stuff for sale to take home.
Tinker-Maker Toys (aka Art of Stem, they've used both names) is on Burlington, just a couple dozen steps off Lombard which is the main drag through St. Johns. I'll be holding down the fort there for the whole event, so if you're able to come out be sure to drop by and say hello!

I probably won't be able to get there before ~6:30ish, but I also would be willing to consume a beverage in a social context.

I think a post-art beverage sounds lovely! I may need to do a little breaking down after 8 rolls around but ideally most of that can be deferred until the next day etc.

Talk of beverages compels me to take the bus, so I'll be there about an hour after I finish catching up with the front page of Metafilter.

Yeah, I was going to go home (I haven't left work yet) and then hop a bus to the thing (since I figure we might mosey eastward along Lombard later and why have a car involved?)
